Join us for a fun day of Spring racing on several of the awesome trails in Curt Gowdy State Park. Race-day registration, packet pickup and the event starting line will take place in the Aspen Grove Parking Lot. There are a variety of race categories from which to choose depending on the distance you want to ride.


The Gowdy Grinder is the main fundraiser for the Cheyenne Middle School and High School Mountain Bike Team! Your race fees will include race registration, swag, lunch from Madflavors, and a chance at some great raffle prizes.


REFUND POLICY

  • Prior to March 15: We will provide a maximum of 50% refund if the refund request occurs prior to March 15.

  • Between March 15 - April 15: We will provide a 25% refund if the refund request occurs between March 15 and April 15.

  • After April 15: There will be absolutely NO REFUNDS after April 15.

We understand circumstances may arise that prevent you from participating in our race, so by registering, you are taking on a risk.

TRANSFER POLICY

Should you find yourself unable to participate for any circumstance, you may transfer your race entry to someone else per the guidelines below:

  • All transfer requests must be submitted NO LATER THAN THURSDAY, MAY 22. 

  • There will be a $10 transfer fee for any transfer request.

  • You may not transfer to a different race category if that race category is already full.

  • It is your personal responsibility to find someone to transfer your registration to.

  • No transfer requests will be allowed on race day.

  • No registrations will be permitted to “roll-over” to the following year.

    CATEGORY CHANGES

  • All category change requests must be submitted NO LATER THAN THURSDAY, MAY 22. 

  • There will be a $10 fee to change the category of your race. 

  • You may not transfer to a different race category if that race category is already full.

  • No category change requests will be allowed on race day.

  • You will receive a DNF (did not finish) if you do not complete the race category for which you registered.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If the race is canceled due to reasons out of our control, we ask that participants accept the financial risk of their entry fee.  Please understand that YOU WILL NOT be refunded any portion of your entry fee if the race is canceled for reasons out of our control after April 15 (see refund policy above).  Please understand, fees collected upon registration are used to directly pay for the supplies and services associated with the event such as: insurance, vendors, merchandise, aid station supplies, administrative expenses, permits, and other related expenses.

If you are not comfortable with these risks and policies, then please do not register for our event.
